Chiusaforte (furlanisch Scluse, slow. KluΕΎe, deutsch Klausen) ist eine Gemeinde in der Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien in Friaul, Italien mit 584 Einwohnern (Stand 31. Dezember 2024). Sie liegt im Canal del Ferro, (dt. βEisentalβ) und erstreckt sich nΓΆrdlich bis ΓΌber den Neveasattel.

Die alte, aufgelassene Strecke der βPontebbanaβ verlΓ€uft mitten durch den Ort Chiusaforte, wΓ€hrend die neue Bahnlinie unsichtbar in einem langen Tunnel durch den Berg fΓΌhrt. Auf der alten Bahntrasse verlΓ€uft heute ein Teil des Alpe-Adria-Radwegs von Salzburg nach Grado an der Adria.
StraΓen
Neben der StaatsstraΓe, die ebenso wie die Bahnstrecke durch den Ort im Fellatal fΓΌhrt, verlΓ€uft auch die Autobahn A 23 im Schwemmgebiet des Fella-Flusses und stellt einen wichtigen europΓ€ischen Verkehrsweg dar.
Von Chiusaforte zweigt eine NebenstraΓe ab, die sich durch das enge Raccolanatal in ΓΆstlicher Richtung zum Neveasattel hinauf windet.
